Cancellation Policy

Tutoring Terms & Policies By booking or purchasing tutoring services with Encode Learning, you agree to the following terms: Booking Requests Tutoring appointments are submitted as booking requests and are not confirmed until accepted by Encode Learning. Availability may vary based on scheduling, location, and travel time. Scheduling Sessions are available in 60- and 90-minute formats. Appointment times are subject to availability and may be adjusted when necessary to accommodate scheduling or travel between sessions. Payment Payment is due according to the rate shown at booking or a previously agreed-upon individual rate. Some existing clients may have individualized pricing arrangements. Cancellations & Rescheduling Please provide as much notice as possible when cancelling or rescheduling a session. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged at the full session rate. Student Materials Students are encouraged to bring or provide access to relevant notes, assignments, course materials, textbooks, online learning platforms, and any other resources needed for the session. Scope of Services Tutoring may include academic instruction, guided practice, study strategies, organization, planning, test preparation, and individualized educational support based on the student’s needs. Academic Outcomes Encode Learning cannot guarantee specific grades, test scores, admissions outcomes, or other academic results. Progress depends on many factors, including attendance, participation, practice, and coursework requirements. In-Person Sessions In-person tutoring locations are selected during booking and are subject to availability. Alternate locations may be discussed when needed. Online Sessions Students are responsible for having a reliable internet connection and access to any materials or technology needed for online tutoring. Service Changes Encode Learning may update rates, availability, services, or policies in the future. Any changes will apply to future bookings unless otherwise agreed upon.
