Cancellation Policy

Tutoring Terms & Policies By submitting a tutoring request, you agree to the following: Booking Requests Tutoring appointments are submitted as booking requests and are not confirmed until accepted by Encode Learning. Availability may vary based on scheduling, location, and travel time. Scheduling Sessions are available in 60- and 90-minute formats. Appointment times are subject to availability and may be adjusted when needed to accommodate scheduling or travel between sessions. Rates and Payment The rate for your session is the amount shown when you request the session or a different rate agreed upon in advance. No upfront payment is required. Payment is due after each completed session, unless a different schedule is arranged in advance. You may pay in person after the session using Venmo, Zelle, credit card, or cash. To pay online, you may request an invoice link sent after the session. No packages or initiation fees are required. Cancellations and Rescheduling If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact Encode Learning as soon as possible and provide as much notice as you can. We will work together to find a new session time when possible. Student Materials Students are encouraged to bring or provide access to relevant notes, assignments, course materials, textbooks, online learning platforms, and other resources needed for the session. Scope of Services Tutoring may include academic instruction, guided practice, study strategies, organization, planning, test preparation, and individualized educational support based on the student’s needs. Academic Outcomes Encode Learning cannot guarantee specific grades, test scores, admissions outcomes, or other academic results. Progress depends on many factors, including attendance, participation, practice, and course requirements. In-Person Sessions In-person tutoring locations are selected during booking and are subject to availability. Alternate locations may be discussed when needed. Service Changes Rates, availability, services, and policies may change. Changes apply to future bookings unless otherwise agreed.
